To Students, Parents, and Teachers
I founded Enablearning 7 years ago with the mission to revolutionize education. As a physics and math teacher, a curriculum developer, a math coordinator, and for the past 26 years as an educational software developer, I have focused my career and my life on trying to improve American education. I am a deep believer that a new technology of education is an essential part of that solution and am dedicated to trying to help nurture and design that technology.
The EnableMath program is a mature realization of that dream and of my hope that with the right technology solution students and teachers will be much better able to learn and to teach all subjects but especially mathematics.
While most of us are believers that technology can and will improve our lives, few of us share that belief about educational technology for it has yet to prove itself. Thus asking you to try our EnableMath program does require a leap of faith for many. But as we have developed and used this program over the past 5 years with some 5,000 students, it has become clear to us that we are on the right track, that focusing on student practice (homework) and on the visualization of math concepts really can enable learning for many students.
We continue to work hard at Enablearning to improve our program and support our students and teachers who use it. We hope that you will give it a try and tell us about your experiences.
