Why can you use our site for free? - We have two motivations for everything we do. We are educators and we want to see students succeed. And we are business people and we want to make money. The free EnableMath site enables you to find any math concept, to do a problem assignment for that concept, to see a worked out example of that concept, and even to see the pattern to understand that concept. We have made it free because we believe that most educational content should be free. And we made it free to broaden our reach in the marketplace at a very cheap price.

Why would you teach college math to K-12 students? - You and your students will likely find differences in emphasis between their K-12 school math and our EnableMath program which is based on college developmental math and college algebra. We believe that while some differences in emphasis are real, that math is still math and that the requirements for success in college math should be considered when dealing with K-12 math. Developmental math is what students who fail the college entrance exam in math must take in order to take a college math course. It is thus the prerequisite math for most college program. We think that it is also fundamental for K-12 students.

Why is this math program different from every other program? - Let’s face reality. We have in large measure failed miserably to educate American students in mathematics. Our figures indicate that over half of all students who finish K-12 cannot do math well enough for college work. And even those who have been able to do some college math, even many who take calculus in college will tell you that they do not understand math, do not get it, and even hate it. No other subject engenders so much fear and even loathing. By building EnableMath from scratch based on a new technology of education, we believe that we have been able to fundamentally change this equation and enable every student to learn math effectively and efficiently.

Can I stop the program at anytime? - If you enter into a monthly subscription we will charge your credit card monthly. If you want to quit the program for any reason just go back to the www.enablemath.com website and log in and click on the Cancel My Account link in the login box. We have dealt with the frustration of having to find and call an 800 number to stop a program, and we don’t like it either. We think that you should be able to quit anytime you want to easily.

Our guarantee - If at anytime you find that EnableMath does not work to your satisfaction then we will return your money. We would be very interested in the problem you are having with the program so that we can improve it, but we won’t force you to give us an answer.
